Ne-Yo, Music Video Update, and 2011

So I am one of those people that still loves going to the store to pick up a CD. Yes, I do the ITunes, but I haven't used my Ipod in a long time. I'm always in the car now, and I just do CDs in the car. So I had the chance to pick up Ne-Yo's "Libra Scale" last Tuesday, and it reminded me of why I fell in love with music in the first place. Great stories! Infectious Beats! Overall...great songs that make you feel something. If you have not picked up Ne-yo's "Libra Scale", go get it.

What made me jump on it so fast was the "One in a Million" music video. Yes, I have been watching tons of videos because I am in the middle of shooting my first music video, and it's very inspirational. But I had to get the album after watching it. Not to mention that his album is somewhat of a Michael Jackson tribute. You can hear it in the vocals, and the direction of the music. And it's great!

So tonight, I'll be riding through the streets of Boston filming the last scene of my first music video, "What Could've Been", and albums and videos like Ne-yo is putting out reminds me of what everyone in the music business knows, but very few end up doing...STAY TRUE TO YOUR VISION AND YOUR ART. There will always be the people that do not like it, and the people that love it. The most successful businesses focus on the people that love their stuff, and they get those people to buy even more than they already do! :-)

So with all that in mind, 2011 is the year I release my brand those that love it, and want to hear it. We are getting the final mixes in for my album, and you will start to see all of the hard work over the last year or so brought to light! Gonna be interacting a lot more than I have been too.

See you in a few...

First Two Days of Music Video Shoot

The hour and a half trips to the Manchester, New Hampshire location...the last minute time changes of different scenes...the exhaustion of dancing for two hours straight...the bitter-cold of New England...ALL WORTH IT!!!!

Over the weekend, I teamed with Brickyard Media Group (www.brickyardrecords.com), to begin work on my first music video for my song "What Could've Been", and I'm having the best time working with them, as well as actress/model Jennifer Lowe, and actor/model Rocky DuBois, of Mystique Models. My music producer, Ezemdi Chikwendu has been at all the shoots taking behind the scenes video, and is poised to make his cameo appearance on the last day of shooting.

This is the first of many videos to come! Thank you to everyone who is involved. We are now a family!!
